The girls’ basketball team hosted the Indianapolis Metro Pumas in a non-conference for their last home of the season. This would be the girls’ third straight win. The Lady Lions would push out to a big lead, leading at the end of the first 20-7. Their defense would help big in the second quarter only allowing 4 points. The end of the first half would see the Lions being up 32-11
Going into the second half the girls would go on another run in the third quarter and lead 58-21 and the end of the third. The Lady Lions would go on to win by 37 points. Key scorers were Maddy Harmon with 17 points, Elena Tufts with 16 points and 19 rebounds, and Mady Rees with 14 points. This would put the girls at a record of 4-16.
Senior Maddy Harmon said, “We are playing more as a team and having a more positive attitude. I feel like we are heading the right direction for sectionals.”
The Lady Lions will travel to Daleville for there last regular-season game. Game time is 7:30.P.M.
