Four RBI Day For Alayna Thomas Seals The Deal In Lions’s Victory Over Indiana School For The Deaf in the Second Game of a DH

Alayna Thomas would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Saturday, driving in four on two hits to lead Lions past Indiana School for the Deaf 20-3 on Saturday.Thomas drove in runs on a walk in the first, a single in the second, a walk in the third, and a single in the fourth.

In the first inning, Lions got their offense started. Kaylen Armogum drew a walk, scoring one run.

Paige Grant pitched Lions to victory. She went four innings, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out six. Maddie Mercer threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Caitlyn Smith took the loss for Indiana School for the Deaf. She surrendered 15 runs on seven hits over two innings, striking out three.

Lions collected nine hits on the day. Brianna GreenleeAbby Graham, and Thomas each collected multiple hits for LionsThomasGraham, and Greenlee each collected two hits to lead Lions.
