Liberty Lions battled on Saturday in the first regional game against Lakewood Park but could not pull through with the win. Lions had a rough start to the game allowing Lakewood to push to the goal in the first 14 seconds. Lions trailed the whole game allowing 3 goals in the first half. Joshua Cabello scored the Lions first and only goal in the second half with 17 minutes remaining on the clock. Lions gave up one more goal towards the end of the game making the final score 1-4.
Lions battled hard in their last soccer game of the season. Lions finished the season with a record of 8-10 for regular season and 2-5 in the conference. Best of luck to the seniors who played their last game this weekend. Good job guys and we wish you luck for your futures. Go Lions!
