Early Lead For Seton Catholic Seals Fate For Lions

Lions fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-0 loss to Seton Catholic on Tuesday. Seton Catholic took the lead on a single in the first inning.

The Lions struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Seton Catholic, giving up 14 runs.

Seton Catholic got things moving in the first inning, when Fox singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

A single by Jared Helm in the second inning was a positive for Lions.

Brown was on the mound for Seton Catholic. He surrendered zero runs on three hits over four and a third innings, striking out six.

Beckham Chappell led things off on the mound for Lions. He allowed 14 hits and 12 runs over two and a third innings. Justin Sheets threw one and two-thirds innings in relief.
